Nominate Your Favorite Writers for Critical Distance’s This Year in Video Game Blogging List

It’s the holidays, which means that websites are compiling all of their best of lists.  Best movies, best scenes in movies, best albums, best comics, best television series, best television episodes, etc etc etc.

But here is one list that actually excites me: Critical Distance‘s list chronicling the best of this year’s video game writing and criticism.

If you like my work, please consider nominating your favorite post of mine for the list!

Here’s how:

Please email all links with “This Year in Videogame Blogging” in the subject line. DO NOT use Twitter for TYIVGB submissions. They will be lost and/or ignored. EMAIL ONLY.

Also, please keep emails brief. No long lists of 50 links with an essay praising each one. If you forget a link, go ahead and send another email. In addition, (and I can’t believe I have to specify this) please leave the links as URLs, no getting fancy by making them hypertext. All that does is make more work for me. I need to be able to identify the links at a glance.

The deadline for TYIVGB reader submissions is Midnight, December 22nd Eastern Standard Time.

And show your love to some of your other favorite writers and vloggers and Twitterers (?) too!

Oh, and you can self-nominate so if you have a piece of your own that you are especially proud of, go ahead and bring that to their attention as well.

It is always nice to feel as though your writing is actually reaching someone, that it isn’t just echoing into the darkness.

Thanks for reading and thinking along with me this year!
